The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Faucette.
Victor Olsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olsen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Olsen lands a slapping body shot.
Olsen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Faucette.
Olsen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Faucette as he jumps to the side.
Olsen lands with an uppercut that bounces Faucette off the cage and back into rage.
Olsen looks for a takedown but Faucette sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Olsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Faucette blocks a jab.
Olsen throws a body punch but Faucette moves out of range.
Olsen misses with a looping right.
Olsen connects with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Olsen closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Faucette! Olsen dives in looking to finish! Faucette is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
