Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yo Eshimuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Slayter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Slayter struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jack Slayter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eshimuro blocks a head kick by Slayter.
Eshimuro doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Slayter counters with a stiff right hand.
Eshimuro looks for a takedown but Slayter sprawls well.
Slayter lands a front kick.
Slayter lands with a cross.
Slayter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Slayter blocks a head kick by Eshimuro.
Slayter throws a right and a left that Eshimuro avoids nicely.

Eshimuro drives through with a takedown into Slayter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Slayter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Eshimuro wants to control from the top but Slayter keeps moving.
Eshimuro postures up and lands a big shot to Slayter's brow.
Slayter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Eshimuro puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eshimuro is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Slayter sees it coming and defends easily.
Eshimuro seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Slayter tries to roll over but Eshimuro keeps him under control.

Eshimuro lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Eshimuro wants to control but Slayter is keeping him busy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eshimuro thows a huge punch but Slayter dodges it nicely.

Eshimuro is working Slayter over with some ground and pound from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eshimuro lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Slayter is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Slayter is not content to let Eshimuro control the position.
Eshimuro gets to mount! Slayter was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Eshimuro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Slayter's face.

Eshimuro is landing with some decent strikes but Slayter is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Eshimuro! Slayter is hurt baaadly! Eshimuro is firing away with more strikes - Slayter is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
