Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juzek Pcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juzek Pcho struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Juzek Pcho is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pcho drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hicks struggles to land a body shot inside as Pcho controls his hands.
Pcho wants a takedown but no success here.
Pcho is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hicks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
George Hicks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juzek Pcho.
Pcho has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hicks avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hicks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pcho moves away.

Hicks tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Pcho is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Well, if Hicks is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
George Hicks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hicks thows a huge punch but Pcho dodges it nicely.

Pcho is refusing to be controlled, as Hicks sits in half guard.

Pcho gets caught flat footed, as Hicks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pcho has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hicks after a bit of a struggle.

Hicks has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Pcho drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hicks looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hicks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hicks!

Pcho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hicks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hicks decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pcho to his feet.
Pcho avoids the head kick by Hicks.

Hicks has closed the distance and engaged Pcho in a clinch.

Pcho goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hicks prevents it.
Hicks gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Hicks is trying to control the action in half guard but Pcho is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hicks seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pcho does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Juzek Pcho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
George Hicks is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
