Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McManus has chosen Devil Went Down to Georgia as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan McManus!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a hook.
McManus looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on McManus's shoulder, as McManus tries to avoid the shot.

McManus shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
McManus is pressing down on Johnson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johnson is holding on for now.

McManus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McManus.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McManus manages to get himself to full guard.
