Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grettis Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joni Hirvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Grettis Ghost has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Grettis Ghost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joni Hirvi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ghost gets tackled into the cage by Hirvi. Hirvi maintains the clinch.
Ghost is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hirvi is defending well for now.
Ghost throws an elbow but it misses.

Ghost breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ghost throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hirvi throws a leg kick that is checked

and Ghost counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ghost.
Hirvi letting Ghost take a breather here.
Hirvi misses with an elbow over the top.
Hirvi takes a shot to the head.
Ghost throws an elbow that misses.
Ghost blocks an elbow strike from Hirvi.
Hirvi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Hirvi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Ghost holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Hirvi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ghost blocks it with crossed arms.

Hirvi turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hirvi manages to end up in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hirvi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ghost is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ghost knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hirvi on the ground.
Hirvi wants to control but Ghost is keeping him busy.
Ghost is pushing Hirvi's head away, looking to escape. Hirvi manages to hold on to the position though.
Ghost struggling a bit here.
Hirvi advances to full mount.
Ghost is squirming around, avoiding Hirvi's attempts to control the action.

Ghost is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ghost has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Hirvi's lack of action.
Hirvi is pressing down on Ghost's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ghost is holding on for now.
Ghost is looking to get back to is feet but Hirvi passes into side control.

Hirvi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ghost wants to get back to his feet.

Hirvi tries to advance to mount but Ghost denies him.

Hirvi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hirvi has hold of Ghost's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ghost seems comfortable defending it but Hirvi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ghost is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ghost is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hirvi couldn't care less - he's delighted!
