Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peace Braquis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Kono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braquis's entrance music is Enter Sandman. A fine choice. Peace Braquis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Braquis has Kono up against the cage in a clinch.
Kono working hard to break the clinch.
Braquis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kono walks away with a smile on his face. Braquis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kono fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Braquis on the side of the head.

Kono jabs at Braquis's body.

Kono connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kono lands a nice looking body shot.
Kono lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Braquis falls backwards - clearly groggy! Kono dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hideo Kono!
A relieved looking Hideo Kono thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
