Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luiz Oliveira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Lee!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Oliveira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lee scores with a spinning back kick!
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Oliveira's calf.
Lee throws a head kick that Oliveira semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oliveira misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Oliveira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from Lee does no damage.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Oliveira circles away.
Oliveira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A head kick misses from Lee.
No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oliveira.
Lee thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Oliveira if he has to take too many more of those.

and Lee makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Lee lands a leg kick that knocks Oliveira off balance momentarily.
Lee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee lands a head kick. Oliveira smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lee throws a head kick but Oliveira moves out of range.
Lee throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee misses with a few strikes there.
Lee lands a nice leg kick that just misses Oliveira's sensitive parts.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Oliveira. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Oliveira takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lee lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oliveira moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lee lets loose with a powerful body kick. Oliveira will feel that in the morning.
Lee throws a quick inside leg kick.
Lee works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Oliveira chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.

Oliveira takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lee lands a head kick. Oliveira smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Lee lands a big head kick that sends Oliveira tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Oliveira back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oliveira is rocked!
Lee connects with a nice cross there... Oliveira is looking wobbly and Lee recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Oliveira to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Lee jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

A determined James Lee didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
