Lodi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ruiz did well to prevent Lodi getting side control.
Ruiz is looking for a sweep. Lodi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ruiz landing rabbit punches to the side of Lodi's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Lodi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
