The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjamin Jr lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gabriel backs up against the cage.
Gabriel throws a push kick but Benjamin Jr slaps the foot to one side.
Gabriel digs a good body shot into Benjamin Jr's ribs.
Benjamin Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gabriel.

Benjamin Jr tries to land a leg kick but Gabriel saw it coming and moves away.

Gabriel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Benjamin Jr.

After the fight, Gideon Gabriel was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
