Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sakke Pietila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chubby Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pietila's entrance music is Hard Night Out by Professor Green. A fine choice. Johnson has chosen Love Machine -by- The Miracles as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pietila uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Pietila lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Pietila avoids the body shot from Johnson.
Pietila scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A good leg kick by Pietila.
Johnson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pietila.
Pietila moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Chubby Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pietila is looking to slow Johnson down with leg kicks.

and Pietila counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pietila was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson.

Pietila bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pietila throws a good cross that connects.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Pietila enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pietila manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pietila is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.

Pietila is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Johnson frees his head nicely. Oh but Pietila has switched to an armbar! Johnson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Sakke Pietila decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
