PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: W.O.L.V.E.S. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duke Torres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alonzo Harris!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Harris is fighting off a takedown attempt but Torres is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Harris to the mat. Harris regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Torres pushes down on Harris's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Harris is not content to let Torres control the position.

Torres has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Harris's body.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alonzo Harris hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
