Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samuri Sikura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Watkin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Evil Boy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Jones.
A lazy left from Jones finds it's target.
Jones scores with a nice right hand.
Sikura scores with a leg kick.
Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sikura shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jones.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sikura lands with a hook. Jones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sikura manages to avoid it.
Jones checks the leg kick nicely there.
Sikura throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sikura moves out of range of the body kick.
Sikura lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sikura takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sikura shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Sikura shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sikura avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones misses the jab.
Sikura connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.

It looks like Watkin Jones has been cut.

Sikura uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Watkin Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A swing and a miss from Sikura.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Sikura clinches.
Sikura is looking to take this one to the mat.
Sikura misses with a knee to the head.

Sikura breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jones is pulling down on Sikura's head. It's preventing any offense from Sikura, at least for the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.

Sikura wants to sweep but no luck.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sikura swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones tries to stand but Sikura is controlling from the bottom.

Sikura throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sikura has his hands on Jones's head, controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sikura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones punishes Sikura's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones tests Sikura's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Watkin Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a head kick but Sikura moves out of range.
Sikura attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Jones lands a head shot.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A right-left combo lands from Jones.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Sikura, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuri Sikura. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sikura on the side of the head.

Sikura dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
Sikura is looking to pass into half guard but Jones pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jones is in guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Sikura is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Watkin Jones dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jones lands with a straight right. Sikura didn't see that one coming.
Sikura throws a left and a right that both miss

and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Sikura didn't expect that.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Sikura is retaining full guard.
Sikura is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.

Sikura pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Samuri Sikura.
Sikura dips to his left and cracks Jones with an uppercut!
Nice body kick from Jones.
Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sikura.
Crunch! Jones slams his shin into Sikura's torso.
Watkin Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sikura shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sikura gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice jab there from Jones.

Sikura is rocked!
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sikura misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sikura wants to stay close but Jones steps back to make room for something. Sikura seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Jones and Sikura drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
