Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hara comes to the cage accompanied by The Who - Eminence front. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Hara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hara misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stevens missing with a left hand there. Hara was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stevens throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Stevens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hara.
Stevens scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Stevens lands a nice shot that snaps Hara's head back.
Some wild striking there from Hara.
Hara fails with the takedown.

Stevens closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hara's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hara utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hara is trying to keep Stevens in close.
Stevens distracts Hara with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevens won't allow Hara to sweep him here.
Stevens in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hara is looking for a triangle but Stevens pushes his legs off easily.
Hara wants to stand and escape but Stevens is having none of it.

Hara has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Stevens should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hara has tightened it up now! Stevens should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Josh Hara!
