Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horace Buckle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eikichi Onizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Horace Buckle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eikichi Onizuka!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buckle moves into the clinch successfully.
Buckle gets underhooks to prevent Onizuka's takedown attempt.

Buckle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Onizuka.
Onizuka dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Onizuka shoots in for a double leg but Buckle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horace Buckle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eikichi Onizuka.
A combination from Onizuka does no damage.

Buckle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Onizuka, pushing him back against the cage.
Onizuka is working for takedown but Buckle is calmly controlling the position for now.
Onizuka is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Buckle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Onizuka ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Onizuka no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Horace Buckle just wasn't active enough.
Buckle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Onizuka moves in looking to clinch but Buckle pushes him off.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Buckle prevents the takedown attempt.
Buckle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Onizuka is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Buckle is defending well.
Onizuka tries for a takedown but Buckle manages to get underhooks.

Buckle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Onizuka lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Onizuka blocks a head kick by Buckle.

Onizuka lands with a straight right. Buckle didn't see that one coming.
Buckle throws a wild body kick that Onizuka sees coming a mile off.
Onizuka misses with a double jab.
Buckle shoots in but Onizuka avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Onizuka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Onizuka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Onizuka lands a decent elbow from side control.
Buckle parries the strikes from Onizuka easily there. Onizuka is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Buckle to escape.
Buckle gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Onizuka trying to pass the guard but Buckle defending well.
Buckle gets full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Buckle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Buckle prevents Onizuka from improving his position.
Well, if Buckle is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Buckle wants to free his trapped foot but Onizuka is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Onizuka blocking the ground and pound attempt from Buckle.
Onizuka is not content to let Buckle control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Horace Buckle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Buckle enables Onizuka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Buckle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Onizuka stops Buckle from standing up.

Onizuka throws a sloppy strike and Buckle has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Onizuka is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Buckle!
