The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatton lands with a good body shot.
Hatton lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hatton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cruz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hatton lands with a good body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hatton stuns Cruz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hatton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Good work by Cruz as he checks the leg kick.
Hatton tries a low kick but Cruz avoids it.
Hatton attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Cruz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cruz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cruz is looking to clinch but Hatton is avoiding it.
Hatton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ricky Hatton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz slips a jab and a cross from Hatton.
Hatton looks winded!
Hatton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Cruz gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cruz pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hatton wants to get up but he can't break Cruz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Cruz is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hatton rolls with it to try and escape but Cruz cranks on the arm and Hatton is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
