Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dimas Boykiy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Ozzie Castillo!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castillo loads up on a big right hand but Boykiy slips the punch.
Boykiy throws a nice looking combination but Castillo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dimas Boykiy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castillo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boykiy throws a series of punches but Castillo moves out of range.

It looks like Dimas Boykiy has been cut.
Castillo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boykiys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boykiy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castillo as he jumps to the side.

Boykiy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Castillo sprawls well initially but Boykiy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Boykiy tries to bum rush Castillo with a series of wild strikes but Castillo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Castillo enables Boykiy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Castillo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Boykiy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Castillo tries to avoid it but Boykiy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Castillo to the ground. Castillo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round but Dimas Boykiy did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Dimas Boykiy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
