Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Talon Sypher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Hartikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viktor Hartikainen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Talon Sypher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Hartikainen!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartikainen lands with a straight right. Sypher didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Talon Sypher has been cut.

A jab-cross combination lands for Hartikainen and sends Sypher crashing to the mat! Hartikainen follows him down to the mat - Sypher regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Sypher is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hartikainen thows a huge punch but Sypher dodges it nicely.
Oh Sypher is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hartikainen drops an elbow to the side of Sypher's head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hartikainen lands a nice short elbow.
Hartikainen is trying to control. Sypher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hartikainen wants to stand up but Sypher is controlling the position.
Sypher avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hartikainen.
Hartikainen scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Hartikainen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sypher's head.
Hartikainen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sypher makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sypher.
Hartikainen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Sypher has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hartikainen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sypher.
Sypher seems to have got his legs back now.
Hartikainen throws an elbow but Sypher slips to the side and avoids it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sypher takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Hartikainen lands some shots froms side control.
Sypher is trying to improve his position.
Sypher is breathing heavily.
Hartikainen lands a big left to the face of Sypher, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Hartikainen and another - Sypher is out! Hartikainen stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Viktor Hartikainen!
