With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Munsy!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munsy moves into range and connects with a jab.
Munsy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gouki.
Jab, jab by Gouki - just one landing.

It looks like Mike Munsy has been cut.
Gouki connects with a leg kick. Munsy looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gouki pivots, looking for a leg kick but Munsy is out of range and Gouki settles back down.
Gouki connects with a good right hand that stumbles Munsy. Munsy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gouki throws a leg kick which misses Munsy's front leg but catches the back leg as Munsy tries to avoid it.

Munsy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Munsy throws a right and a left that Gouki avoids nicely.
Gouki throws a series of punches but Munsy moves out of range.

Munsy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gouki manages to avoid it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gouki. Munsy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Munsy misses with a hook. Gouki ducked under it nicely.

Gouki thows a body shot but no joy.
Shin Gouki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Munsy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gouki is fending him off so far but Munsy persists. Nope, Gouki circles away and we're back to standing.
Munsy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Gouki moves out of range of the body kick.
Munsy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Gouki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

That has opened up Mike Munsy's cut even more.

Gouki throws a sloppy head kick and Munsy moves out of range easily.
Munsy avoids a punch combination nicely.

Munsy misses with a head kick.
Gouki connects with a looping right hand.
Gouki cracks Munsy with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Munsy tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Gouki pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Munsy is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shin Gouki!
An out of breath Shin Gouki thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
