Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Szariskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Szariskis comes to the cage accompanied by 'The Hounds' by The Protomen. Hunter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dance Monkey -Sage Francis kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szariskis forces Hunter back against the cage and clinches.
Szariskis is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Szariskis tries to reverse the position but Hunter maintains control.

and Hunter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Szariskis won't be happy with that.
Hunter has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Szariskis wants to hold on but Hunter pushes him away.

You get the feeling that Szariskis really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Szariskis defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hunter.
Hunter is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Szariskis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hunter get's back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Szariskis shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunter tries to sprawl out of it but Szariskis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fight stays on the outside here - Szariskis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Szariskis tries to clinch up but Hunter circles away and keeps his distance.

Szariskis throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Hunter closes the distance and clinches up with Szariskis, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes Szariskis against the cage but Szariskis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Szariskis swats away the attempt to clinch by Hunter.
Hunter lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hunter.

Szariskis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hunter is controlling him.
Szariskis is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hunter throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Szariskis's body to avoid the submission. Szariskis has instead reached around Hunter's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Szariskis arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
