Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kermodian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kermodian might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kermodian throws out a loose jab but Lewis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kermodian tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lewis counters with a good low kick that Kermodian was not able to check.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kermodian moves away.
A slow jab from Lewis misses its intended target.
A low kick from Kermodian misses
and Lewis counters with a right hand to the body.
Lewis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kermodian throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lewis sizes up Kermodian with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kermodian falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Lewis counter with a right hand.
Lewis checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Kermodian throws a hook but Lewis avoids it easily.
Kermodian throws a sloppy head kick
and Lewis counters with a left to the body.
Kermodian is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis avoids the body shot from Kermodian.
Lewis throws an uppercut from hell that sends Kermodian clean off his feet! He's out cold! Lewis stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
