Evans kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everybody Down. Greg Evans has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans tries to clinch but Gump is having none of it.

Evans tries to work over Gump's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Gump tries to throw a body punch but Evans avoids it by throwing Gump back against the cage.
Gump tries to break the clinch but Evans is controlling the position.

Gump ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gump no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gump is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gump working for a triangle but Evans defends it easily.

Evans got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gump has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evans has managed to get both his arms back between Gump's legs - danger averted.
Evans postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Evans wants to stand but Gump is controlling his posture from full guard.

Gump is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Evans defends well.

Gump has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evans can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
