Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belt has chosen Bon Jovi - Blaze of Glory as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belt just misses with a punch to the body.
Belt paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sapp ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sapp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Belt manages to avoid it.
Nice straight punches there by Sapp. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sapp.

It looks like Black Belt has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Belt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Belt misses with a hook.
Belt needs to keep his hands up - Sapp had a free shot at his head there.
Sapp misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Belt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bob Sapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sapp cracks Belt with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the cage! Can Belt get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Belt looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Belt is rocked!
Belt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sapp.
Sapp thows a body shot but no joy.
Belt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sapp moves out of range of the body kick from Belt.
Sapp on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sapp throws a poor cross that misses
and Belt counters with a right hand to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Belt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Belt jabs Sapp to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Belt clobbers Sapp with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Belt is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Belt is looking to slow Sapp down with leg kicks.
Sapp is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Belt throws a sloppy head kick and Sapp moves out of range easily.

Belt looks low and kicks high, catching Sapp right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Sapp is rocked!
Sapp throws a lazy uppercut
and Belt counters with a monster head kick that knocks Sapp out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Black Belt!
