The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sakaki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Foosternuce to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sakaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Foosternuce drops back looking for a leg! Sakaki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sakaki manages to kick Foosternuce off! Foosternuce jumps back into Sakaki's guard.
Foosternuce is pushing down on Sakaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sakaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Foosternuce has managed to sneak the leg through.
Foosternuce moves nicely into side control.
Sakaki wants to get back to his feet but Foosternuce is dominant here and he's now got Sakaki's back!
