Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kinny Carose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kinny Carose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, David Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Carose shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Carose is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. Carose eventually gives up the hold.

Carose stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Johnson to get to his feet.
Carose shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Carose gets slowly back to his feet.

Carose shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Carose is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Carose controls the pace.
Johnson is looking to stand up but Carose isn't so interested in that idea.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Carose is standing up over Johnson. Johnson looks to escape but Carose dives into side control.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carose. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson tries to escape back to his feet but Carose has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Johnson's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Johnson is tapping! Carose saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
