Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Big Willy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jane Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Willy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jane Doe!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe tries to clinch but Willy is having none of it.
Willy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Willy gets the takedown into side control.
Willy looks up at the clock and then as Doe takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Willy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Willy stands up and beckons Doe to his feet.
Willy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Willy dives in and scores a takedown into Doe's guard.
Doe looks winded!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Willy wants to control from the top but Doe keeps moving.

Willy drops back looking for a leg! Doe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Doe manages to kick Willy off! Willy jumps back into Doe's guard.

Willy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Willy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Willy decides to stand back up. Willy steps back and let's Doe get back to his feet.
Willy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Doe sprawls well. Doe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Willy gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Willy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Doe tries to sprawl but Willy drives through with a takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well, if Willy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Willy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Doe is just riding it out for now. Willy eventually gives up the hold.
Willy is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Willy seems to be working for a kimura but Doe defends the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doe can do anything to dispel that myth.
Willy stalling.
Willy is looking to advance position but Doe won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Big Willy just wasn't active enough.
Willy feints a jab promting Doe to slip. Willy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Doe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Willy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doe paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Willy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Willy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Willy stands up from half guard.
Nice straight punches there by Willy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Willy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Big Willy dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Willy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Doe did well to prevent Willy getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Willy wants to free his trapped foot but Doe is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Willy stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Doe tries a head kick but it misses.

Willy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Doe's half guard.

Doe is rocked!
Doe on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Doe is still in real trouble! Can Willy finish him?
Doe is breathing heavily.

Willy escapes and gets back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Willy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Willy lands a huge takedown. Doe is out but the ref is slow to react and Willy lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Doe lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
