Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oswaldo Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashley Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by In The Ghetto - By Elvis Presley. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ashley Davies was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Davies is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sanchez to the mat. Sanchez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Sanchez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sanchez fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Davies checks it well.

Sanchez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Davies's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Oswaldo Sanchez will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Davies jumps guard but Sanchez turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Davies is trying to drag Sanchez to the mat but Sanchez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Sanchez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Davies's hands.

and Sanchez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Davies thinking.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Sanchez.
