Johnson has chosen Brothers Johnson - Get The Funk Out Of My Face as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Karl King has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with the takedown

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. King fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Johnson wants to pass to mount but King is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson stands up and beckons King to join him on the feet.

and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Karl King has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Johnson scores with a counter punch that sends King to the canvas! Johnson smells blood - he's punishing King with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! King has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
