Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yukioris Gamboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarquin Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fortune's choice of entrance music: Going the Distance - Bill Conti . Tarquin Fortune has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamboa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gamboa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gamboa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gamboa misses with a double jab.
Fortune waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gamboa.
Fortune slips a jab and a cross from Gamboa.
Fortune drops his hands momentarily and Gamboa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gamboa connects with a nice looking jab.
Gamboa lunges at Fortune with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fortune's hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fortune is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Gamboa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fortune moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Fortune makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gamboa throws a poor cross that misses
and Fortune holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Fortune breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fortune tries to clinch up but Gamboa circles away and keeps his distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Fortune counters with a single leg into guard. Gamboa didn't expect that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tarquin Fortune will probably get the nod.

Gamboa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fortune.
Nice uppercut lands for Gamboa. That snapped Fortune's head back.
Fortune takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fortune fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gamboa manages to avoid it.

and Fortune holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Gamboa lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fortune tries to break the clinch but Gamboa is controlling the position.

Gamboa fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Let's hope that Fortune has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fortune closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gamboa did well to prevent Fortune getting side control.
