PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Gonawyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonawyn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Crush 'em - Megadeth. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Gonawyn counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Boyka wants to stand back up but Gonawyn manages to pass into side control.
Boyka is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Boyka prevents Gonawyn from improving position.
Boyka is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gonawyn is controlling him well.
Boyka regains half guard, as Gonawyn was trying to land strikes.
Gonawyn wants to pass to mount but Boyka is defending the position.

Boyka wants to get back to his feet.

Gonawyn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gonawyn seems to be working for a kimura but Boyka defends the submission attempt.
Gonawyn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gonawyn uses his free foot to push down on Boyka's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Boyka.
Boyka is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

It looks like Juri Boyka has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
