Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Wray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Homes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry Homes will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stuart Wray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Homes!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Homes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Homes gets a takedown into half guard.

Homes is looking for a kimura but Wray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Homes to get the leverage.
Wray manages to get to full guard.

Wray has his foot on Homes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Homes works his way back into a safe position though.

Homes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wray is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Homes, into his guard.

Homes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wray gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Homes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wray is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Homes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Stuart Wray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Homes.

Horrible takedown by Homes or perhaps it was just good defense by Wray which made him look bad.
Wray lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Homes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wray looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wray looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wray!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Homes can't escape the position.
Homes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Henry Homes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wray has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
