Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Little Rusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bo Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusky comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Little Rusky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, bo Waters!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters throws a one two combo.

Rusky gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rusky pulls Waters in close to prevent any damage.
Rusky looking for a sweep. Not yet Rusky, not yet.
Rusky preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Waters won't allow Rusky to sweep him here.
Waters wants to pass the guard but Rusky is keeping the position.
Waters is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Waters should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Waters tries to clinch there but Rusky circles away.
Rusky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rusky wants it to stay on the feet.
Rusky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rusky throws a sloppy head kick

and Waters counters with a takedown into side control.
Rusky manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Rusky is thwarting Waters's attempts to control the position.
Rusky is looking to advance position but Waters won't allow it.
Rusky will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Waters looks like he's trying to stand up.
Waters is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rusky scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rusky lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Waters gets full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rusky distracts Waters with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Rusky lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Waters wants to get back to his feet but Rusky is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Waters looks winded!
Waters tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Waters has eaten all the pies!

Rusky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rusky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rusky trying to control the position from guard on top but Waters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rusky lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Rusky trying to control but Waters is working from the bottom.
Rusky passes into half guard.
Waters wants to control but Rusky is keeping busy.
Waters is refusing to be controlled, as Rusky sits in half guard.
Rusky content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Waters can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Little Rusky.
Waters blocks a low kick nicely.
Rusky lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like bo Waters has been cut.
Waters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Waters takes one on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rusky lands with a good body shot.
Rusky fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.


Waters is rocked!

Rusky throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Waters tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rusky is in Waters's guard.
Waters is still in real trouble! Can Rusky finish him?
Rusky lands a couple of elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rusky lands a couple of digs.
Rusky content to stall in guard here.
Rusky with a nice head shot there.
Waters really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rusky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rusky lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Waters keeping moving, preventing Rusky from controlling successfully.
Rusky passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Rusky trying to control the action but Waters is working from the bottom.
Rusky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Waters on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Little Rusky dominated that round.
The cut man is working on bo Waters's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Waters misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rusky misses with a jab, cross combination.
Waters seems to have recovered his senses.
A head kick misses from Waters.
Rusky jabs Waters to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nice shot lands for Rusky.
Waters swings for the body but Rusky moves out of range.
Rusky swinging wildly here.
Waters misses with a body kick.
Rusky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Waters rushes Rusky and presses him up against the cage.
Waters is breathing heavily.

Rusky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rusky connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Waters! He's out on his feet! Rusky rushes in and drops Waters with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Little Rusky!
A very excited looking Little Rusky rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
