The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva avoids the head kick by Goncalves.
Da Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Da Silva misses with a kick to the body.
Goncalves clinches with his opponent.
Da Silva is trying to break the clinch but Goncalves is controlling him.
Da Silva has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Goncalves clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Goncalves is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Da Silva gets his way!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Da Silva's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Goncalves looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goncalves is really stuck here.
Da Silva trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Goncalves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Da Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Goncalves is trying to roll into a better position but Da Silva has get a rear naked choke and Goncalves is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
