Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dameshek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Dameshek!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dameshek.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Damesheks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dameshek.
Dameshek avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dameshek shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lee throws a lazy right hand but Dameshek sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dameshek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Dameshek persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.
Asher Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Dameshek.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dameshek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Dameshek's legs - danger averted.

Dameshek is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
