Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kresimi Horvatic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Duggy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvatic scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Horvatic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Horvatic's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Horvatic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Duggy keeps working.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kresimi Horvatic just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Horvatic shoots in for a takedown but Duggy shows good takedown defense.
Horvatic is breathing heavily.
Horvatic fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duggy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Duggy tries to keep at a distance but Horvatic has taken the fight into the clinch.
Duggy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Horvatic has him pressed against the cage.

Horvatic is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Duggy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Duggy tries to pull guard but Horvatic won't allow it.
Horvatic has hold of one of Duggy's legs. Duggy is fighting the takedown attempt but Horvatic gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Duggy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Horvatic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Horvatic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Horvatic stands up from Duggy's guard - Horvatic perhaps looking for a knockout.

and Horvatic counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Horvatic.

Duggy is looking to break free of the clinch but Horvatic has double underhooks.
Horvatic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Duggy smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horvatic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Duggy as he avoids it easily.

Horvatic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Horvatic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Duggy wants to improve his position but Horvatic is controlling well.
Horvatic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Horvatic thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Duggy's head.
Horvatic uses his free foot to push down on Duggy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Duggy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Horvatic counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Horvatic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Duggy quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Horvatic has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Duggy celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
