Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamkos with a jab.
Stamkos connects with a crisp jab.
Targaryen with a poor takedown
and Targaryen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Targaryen is rocked!
Stamkos thows a left - swing and a miss!
Targaryen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stamkos tries to avoid it but Targaryen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stamkos to the ground. Stamkos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stamkos thumps Targaryen with a low kick.
Stamkos drops Targaryen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Targaryen looks back up at him and smiles so Stamkos waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Targaryen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Daeron I Targaryen has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stamkos ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Targaryen out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Steven Stamkos!
