Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lite Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dojin Aue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aue misses with a double jab.
Speed avoids a punch combination nicely.
Speed tries for a takedown but Aue sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Speed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Speed is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Aue's half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Speed connects with a nice short shot to Aue's temple.

Speed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aue sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Speed somewhat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aue throws a right and a left that Speed avoids nicely.

Aue tries to close the distance and clinch up but Speed swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Aue scores with a one two! Speed had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aue misses with a jab, cross combination.
Speed takes one to the chin there.
Aue uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Speed.
Speed takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Speed throws a looping overhand right but Aue ducks down to avoid it.

Speed is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Aue is surviving well by controlling Speed's body position as best he can.

Speed has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Aue uses from the top position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aue can do anything to dispel that myth.
