Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atsushi Matsunaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichigo Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsunaga comes to the cage accompanied by Masaaki Endoh - Ai wo Torimodose!!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsunaga misses with a kick to the body.
Matsunaga misses with a head kick.
Matsunaga wants to clinch.
Kurosaki tries to clinch but Matsunaga moves out of range.
Kurosaki throws a sloppy head kick and Matsunaga moves out of range easily.
Matsunaga moves out of range of the body kick.
Kurosaki tries to close the distance and clinch but Matsunaga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kurosaki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Matsunaga is trying to get back to half guard.

Kurosaki stands up and beckons Matsunaga to his feet.
Kurosaki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kurosaki moves out of range of the body kick.
Kurosaki misses with a head kick.
Atsushi Matsunaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurosaki tries to clinch up.
Matsunaga misses with a takedown attempt

and Kurosaki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Matsunaga's guard.
Matsunaga is breathing heavily.
Kurosaki controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Matsunaga wants to stand and escape but Kurosaki is having none of it.

Matsunaga is looking to stand back up but Kurosaki counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Matsunaga.

Kurosaki has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Matsunaga is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kurosaki yanks on the arm and Matsunaga is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kurosaki.
