The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson stuffs the takedown.
Watson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A head kick from Lion lands but Watson takes it in his stride.
Lion is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lion shoots in for a double leg but Watson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lion drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Watson drops Lion with a nice combination! Watson dives into Lion's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Thie Lion has been cut.
Watson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Lion covers up, he's hurt! Watson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Watson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Watson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
