The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Collins.
Collins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wattson throws a shot from downtown. Collins moves away and avoids it.
Collins lands a big uppercut and Wattson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wattson looks OK.

It looks like Ron Wattson has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Collins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wattson keeps working.

Wattson trying to get back to full guard but Collins takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Wattson tries to reverse the position but Collins maintains control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wattson is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wattson is squirming around, avoiding Collins's attempts to control the action.

Wattson is trying to escape the mount.

Wattson is desperately trying to improve his position but Collins has a good base and remains in mount.
Collins tries to control but Wattson wriggling away.

Wattson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wattson can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wattson tries to lock up and control but Collins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wattson regains half guard.
Wattson regains full guard. Nicely done.

Collins won't allow Wattson to sweep him here.

Wattson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Collins stands and throws Wattson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Wattson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Collins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Collins lands a nice hook to Wattson's body. Wattson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wattson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Collins lands with a right hand.
Wattson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wattson just misses with a punch to the body.
Collins tests Wattson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wattson walks straight into a right hand from Collins - that's dropped him! Collins jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wattson from any more punishment! Wattson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Fred Collins!
