The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden gets the takedown into side control.
Dietrich tries to buck Durden off but Durden is having none of it.
Durden tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Durden thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dietrich is trying to get back to half guard.
Durden is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dietrich has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durden is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dietrich is trying to escape and Durden transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dietrich is forced to tap! Nice work there by Durden! Very nice indeed!
