Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Alverez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Don't You Give Your Love Away . Alverez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ALL DAY kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alverez misses with a straight left.
Brown misses the shot to the body.
Alverez scores with a decent looking hook.
Alverez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brown scores with a sloppy right hand. Alverez should have avoided that one.
Brown walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Brown throws a looping overhand right but Alverez ducks down to avoid it.
Brown shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Alverez just misses with a punch to the body.

Brown drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Brown advances to half guard.
Alverez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Brown.
Brown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Alverez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown stops Alverez from getting back to his feet.
Alverez wants to improve his position but Brown is controlling well.

Brown sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alverez's guard.

Brown shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Brown was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Victor Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Alverez takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Brown's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
