Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fernandez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Eagles - Hotel Calafornia. Orange has chosen Bob Seger- Turn the Page as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Miguel Fernandez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Orange!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Orange feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fernandezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fernandez connects with a right hand. Orange shakes it off.


It looks like Jake Orange has been cut.
Orange lands with a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Orange thuds his right hand into Fernandez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fernandez avoids the head kick by Orange.
An inside leg kick from Orange misses.
Fernandez lands a right hook to the body.
Fernandez looks to throw the jab but Orange is out of range.
Orange ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fernandez moves away.
Orange doesn't manage to clinch there - Fernandez circles away.
Fernandez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Orange keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Orange tries to close the distance and clinch but Fernandez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Orange throws a leg kick
and Fernandez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fernandez. Orange does a little dance to reset his feet.
Orange tries to clinch up
and Fernandez counters with a nice uppercut.
Fernandez blocks a jab.
Orange connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fernandez's hands.
Orange throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Fernandez counter with a right hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Orange. That's going to slow Fernandez down.
Fernandez thows a body shot but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fernandez scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Orange cracks Fernandez on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Fernandez falls backwards against the cage. Orange follows up with more strikes that drop Fernandez to his knees. Orange keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Fernandez! This one is all over!
