The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murofushi throws a lazy right hand but Boksic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Murofushi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Tomislav Boksic has been cut.
Murofushi throws an overhand right that lands on Boksic's shoulder, as Boksic tries to avoid the shot.
Murofushi drives through with a takedown into guard.
Murofushi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boksic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Murofushi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murofushi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Oooooh!!! Murofushi has knocked Boksic down with a huge combo! Murofushi steps away and waves a wobbly Boksic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Murofushi.
Murofushi connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Boksic to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Murofushi!

Kenji Murofushi opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
