Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Eberhart!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eberhart looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hill is fending him off so far but Eberhart persists. Nope, Hill circles away and we're back to standing.
Eberhart fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Eberhart shoots in but no luck this time.
Bobby Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Eberhart.

Eberhart looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hill!
Hill takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Hill is looking for a sweep.
Eberhart scores with punches from side control.
Eberhart misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Eberhart looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eberhart tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eberhart has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hill can't do much from the bottom here.
Eberhart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Eberhart wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hill, who protects the arm well.
An elbow from Eberhart crashes against the mat.

Eberhart tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hill takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hill is holding Eberhart down, trying to stall.
Eberhart tries to score with some ground and pound. Hill controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hill managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Eberhart.
Hill can't do much from the bottom here.

Eberhart is working to tighten is grip on Hill's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hill has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Eberhart is really squeezing tight and eventually Hill passes out! Eberhart breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Andrew Eberhart!
