Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjorn Gore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
30 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gore throws a head kick that misses.
Gore throws a lazy head kick
and Johnson counters with a body kick.
John Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gore misses with a low kick as Johnson jumps back.
Gore throws a right hand that misses
and Johnson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gore is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Gore tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Gore back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gore is rocked!
It looks like Bjorn Gore has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson has managed to clinch.
Oh Gore is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gore with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Gore seems to have got his legs back now.
Johnson lands an elbow inside that Gore shrugs off.
Johnson lands an elbow just above Gore 's eye.
Johnson lands a vicious elbow to the side of Gore's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Johnson tries to finish him with strikes but Gore still seems able to defend himself so Johnson steps back and lets Gore get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Johnson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gore tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johnson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Gore pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Johnson.
Gore missing with knees to the body.
Johnson scores with a nice hook to the head.
Johnson lands an elbow just above Gore 's eye.
Gore tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnson smiles and moves away.
A head kick by Johnson - that's a beauty! Gore is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Johnson can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John Johnson!
John Johnson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
