The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uso fails with a takedown attempt.
Nordin Tangier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tangier looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Uso lands with a nice body punch.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jonathan Uso was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Tangier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Uso as he avoids it easily.
Uso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Tangier tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Uso swivels and escapes.

Tangier seems a little lost for a moment, as Uso dominates the positioning.

Uso is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tangier is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Uso is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tangier is trying to escape and Uso transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tangier is forced to tap! Nice work there by Uso! Very nice indeed!

A less than humble Jonathan Uso misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
