The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesina throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pesina goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Dominic Pesina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pesina throws a sloppy head kick and Hank moves out of range easily.
Pesina misses with a takedown attempt - Hank sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hank can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hank shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pesina napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pesina parries the strikes from Hank easily there. Hank is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pesina to escape.

That's time! Pesina's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Hank seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pesina does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
