Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Venturia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hearns comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Bruiser. Venturia is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jesse Venturia was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Venturia!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearns lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Venturia lands with an uppercut that bounces Hearns off the cage and back into range.
A big left from Venturia misses.
Hearns closes the distance and clinches.
Hearns breaks the clinch.
Hearns moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hearns lunges at Venturia with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Venturia's hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hearns lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Venturia has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Venturia and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hearns lands a nice hook to Venturia's body. Venturia takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Venturia throws a hook but Hearns blocks it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hearns.
Hearns tries a low kick but Venturia avoids it.
Hearns misses with a leg kick
enabling Venturia to counter with a crisp jab.
Hearns throws out a leg kick but Venturia moves out of range and Hearns only half commits.
Venturia throws a low kick but Hearns avoids it.
Hearns misses with a low kick.
Hearns takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hearns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hearns doesn't manage to clinch there - Venturia circles away.
Hearns takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Venturia Rushes Hearns and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Hearns is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Venturia Piles on the pressure and Hearns crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesse Venturia!
Jesse Venturia was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
