Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galahald Du Lac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Du Lac has chosen Game of Thrones as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz connects with a right hand. Du Lac shakes it off.
Diaz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Du Lac counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Du Lac lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diaz tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Du Lac is able to avoid easily.

Du Lac is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Diaz had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Du Lac scores with a sloppy right hand. Diaz should have avoided that one.

and Du Lac counters with a low kick, right behind Diaz 's knee.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Du Lac cracks Diaz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Diaz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Du Lac finish him?
Diaz is rocked!
Diaz walks straight into a right hand from Du Lac - that's dropped him! Du Lac jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Diaz from any more punishment! Diaz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Galahald Du Lac!
