Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rigels Rouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Segura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rouge checks a leg kick.
Segura throws a leg kick but Rouge sees it coming and moves out of range.
Segura misses with a low kick.
Segura takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Tom Segura has been cut.
Rigels Rouge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rouge fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Segura, pushing him back against the cage.

Rouge breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Segura lands with a hook. Rouge tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Segura blocks a head kick by Rouge.

Rouge breaks from the clinch.
Rouge lands a jab-cross combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rouge fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Segura looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rouge looks to land a combination but Segura avoids it well.
Rouge could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rouge clinches with his opponent.

Rouge pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Segura throws a poor cross that misses
and Rouge counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Segura throws a leg kick but Rouge moved away.
Rouge throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Segura's head.

Segura is rocked!
Rouge checks a low kick from Segura.
Segura is still on wobbly legs! Can Rouge finish him?

Rouge moves into the clinch.

Rouge breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rouge lands with a right hand.
Rouge tries to bum rush Segura with a series of wild strikes but Segura uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rouge clinches up against the cage.

Rouge escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Segura avoids a punch combination nicely.
Segura seems to have recovered his senses.
Segura misses with a looping left.
Segura throws a hook but Rouge blocks it.
Rouge is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Segura gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Segura closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rouge to the mat! Rouge manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Segura drops back looking for a leg! Rouge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rouge manages to kick Segura off! Segura jumps back into Rouge's guard.
Segura works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Segura is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rouge doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Segura.

Segura passes the guard and advances to mount!
